New silver PS2 hardware

I just check Zeller's retailers today. It has a new PS2 but with Silver color. It's shiny. It's a smaller version. But I think it's too late to release another model for PS2 because the PS3 will release soon. Anyway, have a look...

I had a Silver fatty back in England, they released a small version at the same time they released the small black ones.

We also had Aqua, a variation of black, I heard about a Pink one, and probably a couple more.

I never understood why they didn't have them in the USA until now, I would have got one.

I wont be getting one. I want one but there's no need for it, I have a PS2, I hardly use that anymore, buying a Silver one would just because it looks good.

I don't know about general release but it says its not available for sale on Amazon until the 21st.

I had a silver fatty and then swapped it for a silver slimline. I got one the same as that pictured. They look cool, but nothing different to the normal one except its like $5 more.

In the US, we haven't recieved any other color besides black. I think it will be a good addition, especially since the price of the PS3 is outrageous.

Yea that's nice...mine's the same except black...nobody will get it like you said since PS3 is coming out soon...that is the colour of PS3 right?

the 20gb PS3 is black, while the 60 gb PS3 is black with chrome linings.

There are 3 diffrent colored PS3s, One is black, Another is Silver, And Last but not least WHITE

Hmm. Ive had my ps2 for 4 years now and it still works fine. Thats why im not getting a silver one. But i would if i had some extra cash laying around.
