Wireless headset

I have spent way too much time trying to located a wireless headset that might work with s3. Here is something I found. I have no idea if it would work but it is prob the closest thing I have found.

I have also looked far and wide for this... but i don't think its worth 250 bones to "find" out it doesn't work

Yeah man, most wireless headsets do work with the system. It all depends on the programming of the game though, if it can detect the wireless headset. I have heard of someone's wireless headset being detected and being claimed as a cheating device.

Put those 250 beans towards the PS3, which will have all wireless peripherals (mics, controllers, DDR mats).

Are you 100% sure they will have wireless headsets? Because I know that they havent said anything about that. But they better have it seeing how this is "Next Gen" and the PS3 will have bluetooth wireless technology. OMEGA do you have proof like an article or sumtin like that? Im not trying to bash you or anything I just would like some evidence.

yeah ps3 will have blue tooth.

If this would work I would consider buying it. Ever since s1 I thought of how nice it would be to have one.

I haven't got the link to where I read it, but I know I read it. I'm not one to post bogus info, but as all things online, take it with a grain of salt.

One thing that certainly supports this is that Bluetooth was developed by Ericsson, which later became Sony Ericsson. Being that the PS3 supports Bluetooth controllers, it only makes perfect logical sense that it would also support Bluetooth headsets.

I can already tell you that you will not be able to use your current headset with the PS3. As shown here the PS3 uses mini-usb ports, so you will certainly be buying a new headset and I'd bet a month's salary it's bluetooth.
