EB is taking PS3 reserves Tommorow

Yeah, no one saw the announcement coming from Gamestop & EB yesterday. I was going to pre-order one, but I'm going to Philly to see KMFDM tonight, and NYC this weekend, so dropping $100 wasn't an option.

Looks like I'll be camping at Walmart the eve of the release. If anyone will have a good number of them, it'll be Walmart.

A friend of mine had a great tip though. Remember the madness when 360 came out? You couldn't find them anywhere. He got two at freakin Costco, who had a ton of them just sitting in the store.

I don't have a Costco around me. I have Sam's Club which is owned by Wal-Mart and is practically identical to Costco and I've got a card. Thanks for the added wattage to the

Not a bad idea, I remember when 360 first came out. There were purchases on Ebay for Thousands of dollars for just one 360.. I heard one sold for $6000. Im sure the same thing will be done with the PS3's.

Here's a funny story I heard from a guy while we waited to get our pre-orders.

He was at Best Buy during the 360 launch and was behind these girls. Well these girls wanted a 360 so bad that they were offering "services" to get ahead in line. I wish I had been there just for that experience alone.

Why do people think the PS3 in going to be a dissapointment? It hasn't even come out yet. Most of the people that say its going to be a dissapointment are just fanboys of Xbox. i have a PS2 and Xbox and my bro has a 360 and they're all great systems. I like the Ps2 better just bcause i like more games its has.

My dad's friends manges the best buy in my city and he said as long as i got the money he'll save one for me.

And the PS2 fanboys' favorite criticism of Xbox hate is to go right on with the smack talking against the very first controller that came with the original Xboxes... I see no difference, honestly. They're both pretty pathetic, if you ask me.

I'd also certainly hope that a console nearing its sixth year of existence would have enough games to have someone like it as much as you have. Back in the day, I liked my PS2 a whole helluva lot... but I got tired of the crap I had to deal with, did some investigating, and got a next gen console now.

Sony has "lost me" until 2007...

Yea i know what you mean.. The controlers where big, but not big enougth to have a fuss over. Then people started complaining about paying for online play. Just shows you people cant be happy with what they got.
