I personally like going to movies on openning day, particularly ones I'm excited about or really want to support. This'll be one of them.

I don't see The Simpsons point either. Not unless they're ending the series with it, which could make it an appropriate move. I read rumors that they may end 24 in that manner, though I prefer the 24 1hr episodes.

I also think that this movie may be Matt Groening ending the series. If thats true, even though some of the latter episodes have been sub-par I for one will miss it.

I know a trailer for 300 is alot better than posters. But, here they are anyway and they are BAD.

Yeah, I've been visiting CS for years. They weed out a lot of the BS, so you don't have to sift through all of the rumors.

I feel the same way about the new Simpsons movie, that's why I'm calling it "The Death of the Simpsons". At least they're not doing the live action movie they once considered doing... what a catastrophe that would've been!

300 will DEFINATELY be a BluRay (or HD DVD) essential for any home theater.

The song playing in the trailer, the orchestral/techno-y one is "Just Like You Imagined" by Nine Inch Nails, and is on the Fragile(left) album.
