I totally agree with you but alot of people were convinced that games were going to be 80-100 bucks becuase it would take more people to develop high end graphic games... Glad that this is not the case!

Seriously? 85 Bucks? **** no. I think sony must of been laughing at that...

And I still think 60 is too high. But they'll come down. Like the greatest hits. Also for people like Konami who release things for lower prices (MGS3 Subsistence: 30 dollars) than usual for supplemantary titles.

People assumed that the price of the blue-ray disc would make games close to 100 dollars. But it actually costs the same amount of money to put a game on a blue ray disc then on a DVD. Also the fact that they are SONY blue ray discs, it wont cost them the same amount as it does for a consumer.

$60 for a game isn't bad at all. remember back in the day? N64 games were $60 and now PS3 games are that. If you look at it, thats cheap comparin it to a n64 game. ps3 games should be so much more because of their cds and how good the quality the games are. thats a bargain if u really look at it.

I had suspected that regular PS3 games would be $59.99 a Game. But, keep in mind there will be different prices for the same titles now that Games seem to be going down the Special / Deluxe / Collectors Editions trail as they are starting to pop up for the 360 Titles, which are $69.99.

You made a good point with N64 games being $60.00 I had forgotten all about that.

I always have wondered if The video game industry could turn into something like the independent music industry someday. Where people make great games at cheap prices and by their own rules, while also driving major companies crazy and keeping them on their toes. Just a thought

Off Topic:
I am curious that " Full Auto Batllelines " is showing a price tag of $ 39.99. I'm looking foward to that game. Does the price suggest it's not vey good or is the game just a bare-boned multiplayer where the price tag is justified ?

There are plenty of good games that sell for $40 when they're released and it's quite the deal. I love when a game I'm excited for sells for below the normal tag and turns out to be great.
