Socom Online Store

~Here Is Some Stuff I Think The Socom Online Store Needs~

1st: Corner Shot 40 ~Click To See The Weapon~

Brief Description: Combining a swivel barrel with a video sighting array, this aptly named weapons system allows the operator to observe and fire at a target around corners without exposing himself to enemy fire. The barrel can rotate up to 63 degrees to the left or right, and the video/thermal imaging feed can be transmitted to team members.

In the latest version (shown here), the weapon is fitted with a 40mm grenade launcher, but the stock and mount can actually accept a range of small arms types, including 9mm handguns, the M-16 and smoke grenade launchers. Its Israeli designers and other experts see great potential for the weapon in anti-terrorist operations.

2nd: Panzer Howitzer 2000 ~Click To See Weapon~

Brief Description: The German army's 55-ton self-propelled howitzer (Panzerhaubitze 2000) is the world's most advanced cannon artillery system. Its awesome striking power comes from its quick-firing 155mm gun, capable of rapid burst barrages ranging from three rounds in 10 seconds to 20 rounds in three minutes. The only constraint on maintaining this rate of fire is overheating, but the gun barrel's innovative chromium lining greatly minimizes this problem.

Priming, loading and clearing artillery rounds is completely automated. With conventional shells, the maximum range of the gun is about 18 miles, but with enhanced, "smart" rounds the effective range increases to an astonishing 34 miles. The howitzer has excellent cross-country performance -- it posts a top off-road speed of nearly 30 mph -- and a high level of armor protection for the crew.

Unhappy

The problem with having buyable weapons on the socom store is that unverified players, or players without a credit card, or people who can't afford it will be at an unfair disadvantage to those who can buy it.

I mean, it's kind of a cool idea to have buyable weapons and tanks, but i dont know if your just kidding about this or are you serious?

stuid idea. buying weapons is really a bad idea and would never fly cause no one would want to pay 50 bucks for a game, then have to purchase further weapons. like the guy above me said, those who can pay are at an advantage.

it'd be better if you could earn credits in the game, like, a credit a kill n stuff, and you can save for extra weapons, or larger clips etc. Or a clan could save for a vehicle and only members of the clan can drive/fire it.

IMO this idea would be kinda stupid and if it did somehow become something we can see, tha corner shot 40 would be a camper's best friends....so no way is that thing ever going to be in SOCOM and i hope it never will

You kinda do by playing single player. Although this sounds very cool, kinda opens up a completly different type of SOCOM.

to me it is kinda unfair, little kids will stick wid the standard while people wid the cash will have better weapons. IMO it will create an unfair advantage between adults and the little kids tha plays SOCOM 3, bad idea. i wouldnt mind if it was credit that are gain online that are used as the payment for then it will be alot more fair between the age group
