Post your thoughts, concerns, ideas, & opinions about the site changes
As the title says, please feel free to openly express yourselves and your opinions on the announcement which Libertine recently put up. Please keep the comments somewhat useful and not short one liners. Also, please try and use as much proper grammar as possible so we can all comprehend how you feel. This is an open discussion regarding the site changes.
Enjoy yourselves.

I've like this idea since I first heard it, but can you give some more details on a time period for this, as well as the new site URL?

We may be adding some new forums in the future, but the majority of the change over will occur when we switch domains. I know a few of the potential names for the site, but I am not sure if Libertine would like the name released at this point or not. I believe we are shooting to get this site up and operational before the Winter around the time of PS3's release. Anything could happen in the meantime, however, to prevent that time from being hit or even bump the time foward earlier than winter. Time will tell.

With all of the new changes on the site (turning into a general gaming site) will the site name change to something more ...idk general game like, instead of sounding like it is focusing on one game.

Yes, but the name is still being worked on. There are some ideas floating around, but no final name yet.

If they were to make a new name, it should be something like:
socom3andotherstuff.com
That's the perfect name, right?

Looks like a pretty solid choice has already been registered and set in place for some of the ads if you ask me...

I'm pretty sure it's not on my end, but the new forums load really slow. Sometimes, I have to reload the page a few times for it to show up. S3.com never did this and all other websites I go to aren't having this problem.
Is anyone else having these problems?

Yes it is and that is the reason I am getting off right now. I am sick of hitting the refresh button 50 ****ing times to get to view a page.
HOWEVER this is only because of the move and there is still work going on. When the site settles down with moving of threads and adding things it SHOULD go back to quick load times....I hope.
