I agree 100% that's how you unlock the 2 costumes.:grin:
If you are going to take the time to respond, you might as well tell him the actual ways to unlock the stuff, rather than just spamming and being idiots.
You can get most of the characters by beating the game on commander. There is one that you must beat captain to get, and there are others that you must get from beating the Fireteam Bravo on a PSP. (like mirnova)
Rank, since you have already verified, you just have to play in ranked games now. It won't give you a rank until it has recorded you playing 5 games (may take a while to record this, so be patient).
