should i get S3 i just want to play for the online i play socom 2 a little bit and love it is S3 online about the same because it sounds like a lot of sniping and i dont really like socom sniping
actually if you love s2 i say stay with it.. i played s2 for 2 years and still play it occaisionally and i absoulutly hate socom 3 idn the maps are huge and in the game it doesnt really matter how you do you need a full team effort to win... and the games take forever...
S3 is a pretty well designed game. The disadvantage is that the maps are huge and there's to many campers. Many people like that you can equipe your weapon with many different attachments, which is a upgrade of s2. I recommend you to buy s3 you'll have fun with it. Also the ranking system is garbage.
S2 is for people who like to rely on ranks to show their skill. If you think your good enough to play S3, get it. Otherwise, stick with S2. Although S2 has almost horrible night maps and unreliable teammates in single player, it is still a good game. It's your money, your choice, your skill level. If you do get S3, play with the best first and work your way down so you can get better easier.
socom 3 is a horrible game, dont get it or the game will act as a nicotine and u wont be able to stop playing it!! but u hate it!

it can become frustrating, but when u get it dont expect much.
socom 2 is a better game but barely anyone plays it anymore
