Celebrity Deathmatch

Anyone ever watched that show? I used to a long time ago and then all the sudden it went off the air (or somthing like that). I then turn on my T.V. today and as Im flipping I pass MTV and its on, I was shocked because I had kind of forgoten about the show. So anyone else like it, I have always thought it was pretty creative.

I checked out the newer episodes. It's very different, it's almost trying to be too funny. Alot of the voice actors are different, and don't really sound the same as the older voices. The fighters also aren't very accurate to the celebs they're designed after. Like the Colin Farrel and Charlie Sheen fight. I didn't even know that was supposed to be Colin Farrel. That may be my own fault though. He just didn't look like Colin to me.

It was so long ago for me and I was pretty young when the orginal episodes were on so I cant remeber the old voice actors or anything like that.

I definitely used to watch the older episodes of "Celebrity Deathmatch"... they were pretty funny back in the day!

I used to watch the older episodes from time to time. I must say, they were entertaining to watch, poking fun at the celebrities and all. Although I have not watched Celebrity Deathmatch in a couple of years, I'll have to check out some of the newer episodes to see how much it has changed.

Oh yea. I loved that show. I remember an episode with Tim Allen. They also had Michael Jackson on a few times. I missed it so much when it went off the air, but I too completely forgot about the show soon after. I didn't see anything like commercials or advertisements for new episodes. Perhaps I will need to look into this. Hopefully they still have the same old hosts and feel with the show. I hope they didn't go all 2006 on it and revamp the appearance of the show. One of the best things about that show was the lack of all that crap. It was perfect the way it was. Maybe it will be like the return of Family Guy or Futurama. Keep it the same! It was always good!

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Theyre the same hosts, different voices. The clay looks different too. Maybe shinier.

Yeah, in my opinion the newer episodes are crap. Maybe I just don't find the "violence" of the show humerous anymore. That and the fact that the voice actors suck.

I could see it the show having more revelance these days then when it did come out. Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, The M-Olson Twins . Basically more annoying celebs these days than past. Too bad it wasn't on Comedy Central, I think they would push the envelope a little more than MTV.

You would think that but recently it seems the Comedy Central has been playing it safe (especially with their number one show South Park). In this year alone they censored an image out of the show (of Muhamad) and didnt do a rerun of an episode making fun of Scientology because Tom Cruise was getting pissy (they did eventually rerun it, just like 6 months later).
