Sweet Background, No Render, HELP!

I made this background and I can't decide whether to add a render or not, if you could provide a render that you think would go well wit it I would appreciate it, Tips on how to make the text work better with the background would be appreciated also. R&C/

Well first off, I think you went a little too nuts with the blending modes. Theres over saturated areas that looks super ugly (green, blue). I think you should fix the background before anything. And the text would look better if it was relatively the same color as the sig.

Maybe I like the green and blue spots, I think they look pretty cool, in a artistic sort of way.

Dude, you dont always need a render, if you can get rid of the blue at the bottom, it could make a good abstract. Text blending.

-Make text
-Make it white
-Alpha to selection
-Invert (ctrl=I)
-Add drop shadow (X=2,Y=2, Blur=5, Deselect resizing, Opacity =80%, Color= Black)
-Another drop shadow (X=1,Y=1, Blur=0, Deselect resizing, Opacity =80%, Color=White)
-Alpha to slection the text
-Add a stroke (1pxl, Black)
-Merge the 2 drop shadow layers with the text layer
-Add Bevel (thickness=5)
-Add drop shadow (X=2,Y=2, Blur=5, Deselect resizing, Opacity =80%, Color= Black)
-Merge layer down
-Alpha to selection
-Crop layer
-Set the layer to Overlay, Value, Hard light, whatever looks good. (I used Value.)

Hope this helps with text blending

Like he said, the backround can be better. And alot of times if you add a render you can use the render to contribute to your backround, MF/CM taught me that.

Mostly how I made my tag. I don't use brushes anymore.

That color in your text may be one of the same colors as a pixel in your sig but if its just that color (with a small gradient I can see) it's pretty flat and doesn't look like it blends with the sig.
