Wow. 90% of the ****ing mods don't even play this game anymore. You know we were mods BEFORE this game came out? ORLY OTTER? Yea! Jesus. Prone Sniping:
- Noob-friendly.
- Far more easy.
- Camper-friendly.
- Slower-paced gameplay.


So, if you're someone that respects skill, quicksniping is for you. However, if you're someone that prefers an easy kill and a much slower game, then maybe you should stick to prone sniping.

Me, I'm elite, I've taken out 3/4s of a 16 man squad on S3 and 6 people on a 8 man squad in S2. Personally, I think proning is harder for me, maybe because i've never proned before and I just decided to try it and didnt like it.

Anyway, I don't even see the point of threads like these. All of this arguing over the past 2 games doesn't even mean anything. It's a waste of time and breath, because arguing about this doesn't change anything. If you don't like the way that someone else plays, oh well. You're not going to change anything by saying some stupid **** like "Oh god!!11 wtf!?/ he was in, in, in a bush! and, uhhh yeah! he has no skill, grrr!!1" you're going to have to face it, there's usually multiple prone snipers in every games, as well as quicksnipers. Stop playing the game if you're just going to whine about it, all that stress will give you heart problems, all because you got mad you were virtually killed in a video game, and you have to wait, what, 2 minutes?

Also, before someone (because I KNOW some random idiot is going to do this...) post: "O YA, WEL u prob LIE in a bUsH n pR0n3 sn1pe!" I usually don't snipe, I run and gun, but when I do I QS, getting that out of the way.

i cant do it tried just cant do it so i stick to prone sniping but not necessarily (sp?) what others consider prone sniping i dont stay in that one spot for the whole round because its boring for those dead watching for those alive waiting and for me just getting bored so i go to a spot i like chill there scanning the area for 20-30 secs dont find anybody and get up and go to the next location until i kill people, round ends, or i die

lately ive been trying to quick snipe just for shits and giggles. without a doubt quick sniping requires the most skill and demands peak performance (or just an enemy that cant hit anything). impossible? no. much like everything its just a skill that is learned and developed over time. prone sniping is a good stepping stone to quick sniping just so you can work on your timing and set up before firing your shot.

Quick Sniping:

• Constantly moving so fun to watch in dead box
• You are actually trying to find people not just letting them come to you
• Takes some skill and practice to do
• Shows you are not afraid to die
• Some how this is n00bish so people ***** and complain all the time

Prone Sniping:

• Anyone can do it
• You sit and wait
• Boring as hell to watch
• People will sit the entire game even if they are out numbered only to lose in the end
• Good way to learn how to snipe
• You are in one spot, in other words you can be killed with ease because you can't get up quick enough.
• Its camping
• If you are out numbered and the other team rushes everytime then ok laying down might help knock some players out before you die

The last time I played anyone that prone sniped was voted out. Was this mean? No because my team lost 3 rounds because people just layed down the ENTIRE TIME waiting for someone to walk in front of them only to lose the round because the other team out numbered us. I can't stand when people will sit when there is a minute left when it could be 1 vs 1 or 1 vs 3 . Get up and try to win.

QS is too reliant on 50 cals(I detest all one hit KO's in shooting games besides headshots) to be decent. If someone QS' me with a L96 then damn that's skill but with an M82 it's gay.
Prone sniping is normal and more realistic.
