Thats awesome man, we've decided to make every potential recruit fill out a form on our website before joining, we've been getting too many jackasses and clan hoppers. But anyway you sound like you'd fit in great so I'm sure we'll let you in once you fill it out. Just click the "Join IRA" link on our website at www.freewebs.com/puddies

Wow... on the EU servers a clan like this is dismantled instantly... but hey, so long as there are no more Omaghs I have no problem with a group of guys having fun... if I had an NTSC console I would join you guys... it would be a little weird though... a british soldier with the CIRA...
My clan on the EU servers is Full Blooded Irish(FBI) and I'd like to wish you guys good luck with your clan

Hey thanks man thats cool. Remember though Omagh was a Real bomb, not a Conto bomb, thats one of the big reasons why I don't like the Reals. Even if the Brits didn't pass along the warning like they say that was an atrocity no matter which way you look at it. In the words of R.S.F leader Ruairi O'Bradaigh, "Atrocities should not be committed, ever"

Ah well, I tend to look on the IRA as one group, but in the last while I've been studying the ol' national history, and the provos are the only real sect I dislike... they are the feckers that organise the riots (apart from our close friends the orange lodge!)

Provos are ****, half of the leadership were British spies and they've chosen to go an unwinnable route. The Provos used to stand for something but ever since 86 they've been **** and now they've sold out. The Reals are mainly about blowing stuff up, no real brains behind the movement and they seem to buy into the whole Catholic vs. Protestant thing which has nothing to do with the struggle for freedom, I mean the founder of Irish Republicanism was a prod. Well any way thats why I support the Contos, along with most true Republicans (please don't get that ****ing mixed up with the GOP, I'm so ****ing sick of that) and the families of the hungerstrikers, they've got their minds in the right place politically and I agree with their assessment that as long as Great Britain retains a military force in Northern Ireland the Irish must retain a military force in Northern Ireland. Doesn't seem right to be talking about this to a soldier in the British Army but you seem alright.

THis may be surprising puddies, but I agree with you on most views... I think the IRA should continue to have a presence, although only to counter the protestant paramilitaries... I prefer when the army aren't involved ... I always hated the way the british army was used in NI (bloody sunday is the reason I never wear the red beret, even when on duty in the province) and hope they drain the place of troops ASAP
Sorry to hijack your thread
P.S Tiocfaidh Ar La, but with as little blood spilt as possible on the way

Don't apologize this is cool and plus you're giving us bumps. I agree that the IRA in whichever form needs to be their to protect the people against the loyalist death squads. No offense to you but Brit soldiers are legitimate targets as well in my opinion, in order for the guerilla war to be won enough damage needs to be done to cause a demand for withdrawel in the British homeland. That doesn't necessarily need to be all done in bloodshed, economic warfare like blowing up financial districts and establishments is an excellent tactic as long as they go to all lenghts to avoid civilian casualties.
