ASQ is SOCOM 3's PREMIER tactical clan. Currently we've got 23 members and are looking to expand our numbers.
*Our Goal*
Our goal is to get the players within SOCOm 3 that are currently tactically minded and wish to be a part of a team and are willing to take orders initially, and further down the line, when they display leadership qualities, will be able to give the orders and become an executive member within the clan.... We're trying to create an environment that "plays it like it's real"; if you've been looking for a clan that does squad-play to the extreme, then this would be the clan for you...
*Benefits*
* A group of people who work together to accomplish a goal
* A mature envitonment without the constant babble of immaturity
* A system that works in which if you have a problem within the clan, it's discussed by the executive members within the clan, and then voted upon.
* A ranking system within the clan to offer you something to work towards
* A
website (up and running) that's constantly being updated such that it reflects what's going on within the clan.
* People who are on every day and will play with you no matter what game you wish to play
*Cons*
A lot of clans don't list the bad things about their clans, and I'll list them here for those that wish to know.......
* A high turn-over rate, most of the people who join the clan aren't deemed to be good enough to stay within the clan, so they are either ejected within days of acceptance (during their four day probationary period), or within the next couple of weeks.
* Practices and wars that are mandatory for you to be present for. We don't have MANY wars, but the ones that we do have, we win because of training. If you're missing for training too many times, then you are ejected from the clan.
* Rules and Codes Of Conducts that determine how you should act when you are within a game with the clan or even out of the clan..... If they aren't followed, then you are to be given a dishonorable discharge.
*Recruitment Information*
If you would like to be recruited, then you may join our forums at
http://asq.10.forumer.com
and make a post in the "Recruitment" section (you must register before you're given access to this section) regarding your interest in joining ASQ.
At the top of the forums, you'll find the announcement that will show you how to post:
"
Please post the following basic information, and follow further instructions when contacted by an Alpha Squadron member. All new members will be paired up with another existing member for the recruitment phase. That clan member is to be your "guide" you stick with them for the remainder of the phases, and you will enter the clan relatively easy.
Basic Information:
Age:
Playing Time:
Why You Wish To Join:
Class of choice:
How many previous clans:
How'd you hear of the clan:
The quicker the information is posted, the faster we'll adopt you as a member within the ranks."
After you've done that, you will then play a tactical game with me, SoggyMilk at an appointed time that you will say is convenient for you to get on.
After you've completed that, you will move on to phase two, in which you'll train with the rest of the clan on the Harvester Map......
After you've completed basic training (which if you fail, I'll laugh on the microphone really loud, because it's easy as hell), then you'll have 4 days where you'll get situated within the clan, and then you'll be a permanent member in ASQ.
