That's not a terrible idea. I know a few friends who have started new names just because their other account is shatty. I won't do it because I have 50 or so people in my friends list. But to have the option would be ok. Then those people who have good rank don't have to start over because everyone else has bad rank. But they would have to do something about those rank-ups, because what they do is stupid.

Yeah, I've already made a new name but I haven't verified it yet for two reasons:
1-If they patch and reset ranks, I'm fine with my current name.
2-If they patch and reset ranks, and I've already started building up the new name's stats, I've wasted a bunch of time.
I don't know, I am thinking he is referring to the fact the Microsoft pushes out a lot of patches. More of a cross-reference instead of a direct comparison.

Some of you really need to ease up off Zipper and Sony. This is by far the best Socom to date. So just give them a break! They're working on the damn issues. Like many of us have guessed, the rank ups are a very difficult problem to solve. How do you keep someone from logging in with 12 PS2s, etc. I rather they take their time and get the patch right than put out a garbage patch. Just be patient....
