Ultimate-guitar.com I is also running but the site is from Russia and they own a license to distribute the tabs, so they won't be shut down.

**** you, MPA and other copyright whores. Stop ****ing up the world and simple things like online lyrics and tabs. I got many ****ing tabs from MXTabs. And now, it is ****ing shut down. If this keeps going, what will be the ****ing point to even listen to music? So basically they are trying to take away my freedoms of playing guitar or even singing a god damned mother ****ing song once in a while. Great ****ing job, *******s. So, heres a shoutout to the MPA.

I have a problem with this next statement, also.

This was said by someone in your organization. I can completely assure you that around 99.99% of people going to tab and lyrics sites are using the tabs and lyrics for personal entertainment and pleasure.

Currently, I am in a band with some friends. If we were ever going to play a cover song made by another band and were going to make money off of it, we would first find out if we would have to pay anything or if all we need is permission. But, there are not many people who are going to steal a song and make a living off of it.

Saying that you are going to shut down lyrics and tab sites for this reason is like saying that people shouldn't be allowed to have a personal garden. People can sure steal from someone's garden, just like tabs and lyrics. But for one, people will notice. Second, not many people at all are going to steal from a garden or from lyrics or tab sites.

I understand why you want to shut down these sites, but this is just rediculous. For the 0.01% of the people that are actually going to steal the tabs and lyrics, you are going to shut down the sites for the other 99.99%. Great job. Im sure that you will make many friends by doing this.

You are over reacting just a tad don't you think.

Sure they are idiots for what they are doing but they will never be able to stop it all. One site will be shut down and two more will go up. Its a never ending battle for the MPA they will eventually move onto something else.

Pan you probably wouldnt understand about the tab thing because us guitar players rely on tabs a lot to learn songs, and now its going to be a lot harder to find decent tabs since mx is gone.
