I hope you are using a condom in addition to trusting your girlfriend to take the birth-control all the time at the right times, or you could be posting your own little surprise soon.

Kids are amazing, when you are married and ready for them, not when you are too lazy to use a condom and end up with an OOps, with someone you don't want to raise a kid with.

For me, so far it has been 1 year, 305 days and it is great!

I'm with MOAB. I have a 4 year old, a two year old and one on the way. There is no bigger joy in life than your own children, but also no bigger responsibility. There is no such thing as you anymore, everything becomes a group decision. So, if you are truly not ready, bag that sucker up because you can't rely on your girl to keep you out of fatherhood my man. Especially as vindictive as women are, nothing says revenge like an unplanned pregnancy. Good luck papa!

If i got my girl pregnant I'd probably just set my baby up for adoption. I mean I love kids and all and I would probably be a great father. But lets state the facts, I'm poor, I'm BARELY making rent. I can only eat 1.5 meals a day. And I'm enrolled in some college classes. Lets be serious, I'd be a horrible father. Good in the personality, but not in the bank account.

I thank you all for your support or not support. He is my first child. I am newly married, and he was an oops.. but we have to deal with the cards we are dealt. I would not have it any other way.

I cant imagine people leaving something so precious as a newborn child...I love mine..

Thank you for taking responsibility. I hate guys who knock some girl up and then move to a differnent state. Although it is the foundation of a great show (Jerry Springer), I can't tolerate it. Good luck with the newborn SEAL. Let's just hope he doesn't turn into a glitcher. Bring him up right. Peace.
