My first sig!!!

Ok... I don't play around with Photoshop very much at all. I prefer coding to graphic design. But, I got bored last night and decided to try my hand at making a sig for myself. This is what I came up with. Any constructive crisicism or tips would be greatly appreciated... thanks!

Renders is cut poorly, there is alot of white by his hair, his right side, hell, all over.
Text is very creative, but the text all the way to the right (not drunknorgy but to the right) cannot be seen. Maybe pick another color and use a stroke.
Background is great, theres nothing I dont like about it. Dont know if it quite goes with the render, but I do like it nonetheless.
Also, add a 1 px border, just to make it look more finished.

Overall, for a first sig, I think this is very well done. Nice work.
