Metallica is a great choice though. I always loved listening to a Metallica CD for no reason just because of how awesome they are/were.

One of the orginal memebers of Metallica is dead too. The bassist died in a bus crash.
 Led Zeppelin
 Pink Floyd
 The Who
 Jimi Hendrix
 Black Sabbath (orginal)

The original Metallica lineup is still very much alive....
James Hetfield
Dave Mustaine
Lars Ulbitch
Ron McGovney (original bassist)
Cliff Burton was however the quick replacement for Ron back in the early days and went on to be nothing short of amazing until that fateful night on Sept.26th,1986 when he and Kirk drew straws to see who got the upper bunk on the tour bus. RIP Cliff!

You, my friend, have good taste. My list would match yours for the most part.

But if it were ever possible to bring back the dead, these two bands would definitely be on my comeback list.

But this falls in the same category... Cliff Burton died way back in 1986. That was my favorite "version" of Metallica.

Yeah... I remember this guy... saw him at a bus stop in San Francisco begging for change.

I would love to see Alice in Chains come back together. Well they really never split up, but Layne died. Now I'm aware that this isn't possible, but please stay off my nuts about it, okay?

I wish creed would get back together. But Scott Stapps new Cd kicks some serious butt anyway. That Altrabridge crap that the other members made sucks no one liked it.
