M203's in Scarface?

I don't think it was an M16A2. It looked like he was firing auto. Maybe he was. I don't know.

He WAS using a 203 at the end though. I know this because I've seen this movie so many times its drilled into my head (I even have a picture of Tony Montana on my wall. I'm so bad)

If he was indeed fireing full auto then he was useing the M16A1.

i thought the m16 was only burst not auto?

M16A1 was capable of full automatic fire. With the M16A2 upgradeing of the weapon they decided to eliminate the full auto feature.

oh i get it now. i thought the m16A1 was the a2 for some reason. lol so is there like an M16B2 and C2lol and stuff in the army?

No just A1,A2,A3, and A4. It dosn't span out onto the whole alphabet.

i believe its a m4-203? because he does shoot it full auto could be a m16a1 but most likely a m4 also it does seem like he shoots more then a full clip before re loading

wow, you guys know nothing about firearms. Tony Montana was using a M16-M203. It had the jungle handgaurd with heatshield. The movie was in the 70's we just got out of Vietnam. The only full automatic assault rifle at the time in the US was the M16A1. The M4 was not around until about the late 80's early 90's. The basic differences in each A1, A2, etc. are the functions. A1 had the triangle handgaurd unless it had the 203. A2 was the round one with better internals. Then from there the internals change so that it is more functional. Hope this helps...
