Politics
What really pisses me off is the extremeist democrats or republicans. They are always blaming each other for something else and taking credit for something that the other side really did. But if you try to go halfway and be independant, you will just be ignored. So, there are just 2 sets of ideals to run the U.S. government by. In my opinion, neither of the political parties do a very good job anyway.

Voting
Voting is great. If we do get another Hitler in office, we can't blame him or anyone else. Then it would be our own fault. But in the presidential election, its a rip. The electoral college votes based on the state's popular vote. WTF is up with that? It should be set up so that the people actually vote for the president.

The good ol' American justice system
America - The only civilized place where you can rape and murder a 17 year old girl and only get 15 years in prison. Come on. It should be like "an eye for an eye." Well, maybe in some cases. But, if you intentionally kill someone (when not defending yourself) you should be given the chair or life in prison. In America, you can get away with crimes just because the arresting officer did not read you your rights. And then there's politics in the justice system. Its all corrupt.

Political Correctness
"Freedom Fries" because France didn't help us in the war. "Hate Crimes" if a white kid hits a kid of another race. And much, much more. It is going out of control. And it is getting annoying. People need to face it. The world isn't perfect. All those over-protective soccer moms out there need to accept that there are more than white kids out there and that there is violence on TV. It is just how the world is.

Taxes
The government taxes the hell out of us. About 30% of people's paycheck is taken by the government. And our government is spending billions and billions on nukes and bombs. The government can take a ridiculous amount of money from you and can still be in a deficit. They need to figure out a way to use their money wisely.

Now im just kind of ranting, but out country just has a ton of flaws. This country was supposed to be a great place, but it just seems to be slipping away. It is a lot better than poor countries and communist countries, but I still do not enjoy living in this place.

Sidewinder, This country does have some problems. If you don't like them, do something about it. That's what the vote is for. And you have your right, to say what you want. People have served and died, to give you that right. If you don't like this country, then leave! And don't let the door hit you on the butt, on the way out.

I'm just happy to be in the USA as compared to Germany where my brother pays taxes up the arsehole. Do YOU want to pay taxes just to display a flag outside? Or pay "water run-off" tax if you live on a hill?

I wish you would live in a third world country for a month. You would be crying to come back to America. People died for you to wake up and not have to be under someone's direct rule.

By the way, one biased survey means nothing. I could gather up several surveys that says America is the best country on the planet.

Jimdalf, Englad is ****ed up. Look at the drinking problems...Jesus. In fact, I beleive the Prime Minister called a state of emergency due to drinking related deaths, fights, riots, etc.
