i loved the snow maps, Guidance sucked though, it was too 1 sided, the terrorists didnt have to work together to win, but the seals had to, and if the terrorists did, then yer ****ed no matter what went down.
But on Blizzard and Req, i could go 20+ and only die 0-5 times total if at all.
Snow levels owned....they need to make many more snow levels for the next socom

Maybe, but they have to switch the technology format that they were in. SOCOM 3 uses the streaming technology that Grand Theft Auto used. It loads up small areas from a huge map as you pass through there.
i'm not tryin to dog the winter maps or anything but i'm curious, why are they so popular? were they easier to hide in or something? i've played them all and i like them but i don't understand all the hype just because they're covered in snow.

Snow maps are a huge change of pace...because your on a white background you stand out more...plus ( at least in Socom 1) you can hear the difference in walking in snow ... its hard to explain...its a completly different enviroment.
