Head Shots

well here are some tips I have figured out, if u shoot someone from far away u always get two head shots, and even if u shoot a dead body (still falling down after the kill) u can get head shots, and if i am correct, hit percent and head shots help rank, so always shoot the person twice in the head. But i am still pissed that head shots don't always kill the person.

First off, you WILL change it because if not, it will be removed by a mod.

Second, none of us care enough about rank to keep trying to shoot a falling body in the head. The only good this does is explain why i sometimes get more headshots than kills, though i still think its more of a server issue. Hopefully a patch will fix this problem.

Of course there will. Why is everyone so doubtful about patches? Think of the patches that came out for Socom 2. Basically any game that can get patched will get patched, because the game when it's first released is basically a Beta.

Yea I dont get why everyone doesnt think theres going to be patches either. Just think about it too, would you rather pay $500.00 for Socom 3 cause Zipper/Sony had to hire 50,000+ people just to insure the fact that all the bugs and glitches were worked out. They depend on us like we depend on them. They dont have the kind of time or money to make sure everything in the game is perfect, we would've never seen another Socom if that was the case. Its easy for us to point out the problems cause of sheer numbers, they have like what 20 people that worked on the whole game.

I dont think that headshot thing is a server issue. I think that its what the game sees. Lets say your in a fire fight, and you shooting the guy and you nip him in the head and then soon after yu shoot him in the head to drop, thats 2 headshots right there. Also once that invisible glich happend to me where most people cant see you or kill you, and i was just runnin around shooting the SEALs in the head cus I was trynig to kill them and I had 43 headshots.
