Rank doesn't matter...??

I personnally dont care about rank but i do like to see my kills 2 death. socom could get rid of rank as long as they can keep track of my kills to death. i always pride myself on being over kills to death. thats all i really care about.

rank doesn't really mean much to me. I only get to play for about 5 hours a week if I am lucky, so I know that I will never really achieve a high enough rank simply based on the fact that I can't put enough time in. I do like to see my stats (which never seem to be accurate, but that's a different thread). And yes I am verified, whic according you some of you means that I MUST care about my rank...wrong, it means I care about playing games with my clan and friends.

I do care about my rank. Its fun as I play every so often my rank changes which is always fun. But I have never ever seen the need to cheat for it. In fact I think cheating to up your ranks is not only making the rest of the players get a lesser rank, but you cheat yourself. How can you be possibly satisfied with high rank if you cheated to get there? I could never be, that is why I never cheat in anything

Sure you do not have 100% proof they are cheating, but comon now, anyone with half a brain and some common sense can see some of the numbers being put up are simply impossible without some sort of bs going on. Zipper needs to get off their collective asses and get their <font color="#FF0000">*censored*</font> together to do something about this blatent nonsense. I mean what was the whole point of using CC's if not to weed out the losers that cheat to grab a little bit of fame on a video game.

The only real good purpose for stats are to keep track of your own personal bests, and see how you yourself are doing online. I mean alot of people play legit and like to see how they do, and by playing legit you will get personal gratification at having good stats, and satisfied in the knowledge that your stats have been earned through well fought game play and proper means and not some noobish nonsense. Kudos to those of you who keep it on the level, keep playing fair to get rank. Other then that, give me a print out of the rank list so I can wipe my <font color="#FF0000">*censored*</font> with it, because that, to me, is about how important ranks are.

Right,hopefully if Zipper cares for what the top ten are currently doing.Maybe we will be able to see who really belong there,other than some dudes killing bodies standing there.Cuz as you said,rank currently doesnt mean nothing,due to the fact the system is retarded.

Im personally taking a break from the game to have fun on others but i could give 2 shyts about rank. Didnt on socom 2 (only cared about my record suicides ) but nobody should care about rank because just like socom 2 they can erase stats and rank at the drop of a hat. Why put in the energy and stress to do "great" and up your rank when it can be gone at the blink of an eye. This is the most non rewarding game i think ive ever played because of that. I play for one reason and one reason only and it damn sure aint rank...its FRIENDS. If you cant have fun with your friends the rest of the game is just perty window dressin :P
