Camping and such

Before you read on, I am just saying that I am brand new to these forums, and if you have a fetish on always yelling at new guy in the forum, just dont read on, but this is what I have to say about people complaining about camping and stuff.

Ok, now that that is out of the way...I just read a post where some people were complaining about camping and saying only newbies use it and other bullcrap which made me think "What the hell is wrong with these people?".
Camping is part of every game because its a basically a playing style, and when you're playing Socom I, II, or III, you're going to encounter it just as in Battlefield 2, Counterstrike, World of Warcraft, or any online player versus player game. The way I see it, if you took away camping, you would be taking away a part of gaming. I see people camp all the time because they carry a M82 and a ghillie suit, and will take anyone out unlucky enough to end up in their sights. Alot of times I see one or two people camping a control point because the other team just needs one more to win. Other times, I see someone just run to a hiding spot because they just got the game a few hours earlier and really are just new and confused and adapting to the game. Normally, these people camping will get the kill because they were patient enough to wait for someone to get into a position where they could attack and kill you. If you get killed from someone that camped, theres no need to go ***** about it in the lobby after the game, just be sure to make sure noone hits you from there again and be more careful.

I honestly dont know what else to add right now, I probably will edit it later and add more once I calm down, its just some people act real immature when it comes to camping...

The only problem i have with it is that anyone can do it. When people get 15 kills and get back to the lobby and say they are good, and they camped, that makes me mad. Anyone can sit around with an SD or Sniper. It's not hard. Don't act like it's hard, that' all I have to say on the matter.

Look if someone gets 15 kill camping theres a something wrong with YOUR team if a guy can go to the same spot and get 15 kill w/o someone finding him well thats your thing. If he keeps moving around then do something about it camp in a good spot and wait for him or something camping is a tactic....

Are you kidding me? I would consider myself a camper extraordinaire. There is a difference between the "New" and "Experienced" camper. There are tons of tactics to consider, weapon choice, what type of camping, equipment, etc. The experienced campers have to keep getting new strategies and "sweet spots" because the new campers keep taking them, however this is how we thrive. When people are looking out for specific heavily camped spots, they wont notice us right behind them . Then, are you camping or ambushing? Using claymores/mines? Grenades/Smoke? There really is a lot to choose from. In my opinion it is a hard art to perfect, it doesn’t always work, but when you get a sweet run you can go 20-2 with no work.

You just proved by point. It takes no skill to camp. Everyone can do it. I don't mind campinh itself, but if someone tries to bragg about camping, they are dumb. That's how I look at it.

Fool me once camping in a spot.....shame on you, fool my twice camping in the same spot shame on me...... just adapt or camp yourself. I myself hate to camp, that is probably why I have so many deaths but it is more fun to me. Just one of the many tacticts (sp) in an online tactical shooter. I f I could get on right now, but that is another Bullshyt story.

It dose not matter how you get owned, you got owned. Whether it be by a camper or a grenadier.

I believe that its the snipers job to camp, correct? I take into consideration the time and how many are left alive. If your team has 4 people left and the other 3 I camp. No sense in getting killed when time is running out and you have the upper hand.
