Anyone else feel full auto isn't as good in Socom3?
I think that using your gun on full auto in Socom3 doesn't work as well as it did Socom2 . The bullets seem to be a lot less accurate, especially guns with a high rate of fire. I kinda like the change because shooting a gun on full auto isn't that easy(controlling it, unless you have a bipod) I felt that in Socom2 you could just hold down the trigger and kill the other guy pretty easily. These are just my feelings about it. Post your thoughts!
I use full auto with smgs, or for assault riffles, if i equipped a reddot and front grip. other then that, i think its pretty widespread knowledge (on these boards anyways) that full auto is useless, unless you're 2 feet away from your target.

To me, automatic with any gun in this game feels like a 9mm sub in socom2. Terrible spray.

Yep, i somtimes find that when I forget to cheng my 552 from burst to auto, that it is almost better. I've adjusted to the spraying though, and it's not so bad as it was at first.
Going back to Socom 2 though, everything seems so accurate. It's amazing.
Yea full auto doesnt work on any gun in socom 3. People just have to burst with the guns even if you have a front grip and laser sight on. Just another reason socom3 is more realistic.
Well, full auto is just a load of bullshit in S3 unless you have a SMG, or are close to your target, either way, you need to be close to be effective. I like equipping the AG-94, rifle laser, and either a medium or thermal scope, depending on if its a night or daytime map. For seals, I'll go with the good old M-16, rifle laser, and a medium or thermal scope...But I have had some success with the M-14, bipod and a scope. I like having the option of hitting someone from far away, but also take someone out pretty close up if I need too...
i thiink zipper did this for a reason(obviously) to try and get rid of the sspray and prayers, i agree with whoeva said in socom you need to have the burst. But is it just me or is the F90 DISCUSTING! i like it betta than the STG
ya i often find myself when using full auto to be spray around the guy then hitting him. if you had him stand at a wall and shot you probably would outline him.
