Important Solution to BIG ERROR
I am sorry if this has already been posted elsewhere, but in case it has not, I would like to help many socom3 players out by identifying, and providing a simple one step solution, to a common error.
While logging onto SOCOM3 online, you may encounter a message that may look similar to this: "Disconnected From Network." .
When you see this message, DO NOT DO ANYTHING!- wait for about 1 or 2 minutes (at the most), and you will eventually be succesfully logged online. In other words, when the message appears, leave the controller alone until it advances to the next screen, just like the error hadnt even appeared! happy SOCOM'ing.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. I left it sitting there when i was at the computer one time, I came back, and it said that, so I bent down to grab the controller and then it re-loaded the server, so I hit x and it logged me on.

There really is no point to this, as for the fact that you still get a disconnect on your stats.
It only saves you the trouble of having to log back in yourself, or sometimes restart a PS2.

I think he's talking about when you first login and it says that.

This happens a lot
This does happen a lot to me. Took me forever to figure out that if I just left it alone, it would fix itself. Fortunatley it hasn't happened while I was playing a game, just logging in or exiting a briefing room.
Anyway, I agree with the original poster, just leave it alone when logging on, and you'll be fine by my experience.

This works for the quick login, but not the one from the main menu.
