This happens to me sometimes. It usually only happens once or twice and then I am on.....
I too have noticed that it usually will log on anyway if left alone, however I noticed something else too......I get more mic problems when I just let it log on when getting the disconnect error popup.
If I hit X and redo the log on until it is a clean log in I do not end up with mic problems. For me it will only take a couple tries at the most but it is worth the trouble to know I won't have a mic issue when I get connected.
