Sorry but shut the **** up. If you find that only a good looking game can please you go play the latest final fantasy POS. Seriously, grow up. Dots that don't lag > 50,000 polygons at a frame a second...
But it looks great anyways so: fiek du dich.

xa tellin it like it is. The reason the graphic are not very good is because the game creators needed to compensate for the larger amount of people in a certain game and also the larger sized maps. The game play does not suffer whatsoever so just be grateful for what you have. Go thank your parents for giving you their credit card while your at it.

If the graphics are worse, then that means it is going to be harder to see far away. With huge maps that equals ********

well the graphics are about the same as far as i can tell without HD capability, however, I have the HD adapter, put that guy on progressive scan with widescreen mode and you will DEFINETLY see improved graphics. Though S2 had a mode to change to progressive when i used it I actually couldnt see a difference. Any of you jam HD?

answer the question retard:

Does the horrible graphics hinder the ability of a player to see the enemy from far away?

dude the graphics are just as good if not BETTER! pay attention, all the trees buildings that used to have jagged lines now have smooth lifelike lines. and look at the characters! they are very highly detailed. i find nothing wrong with the graphics

I like the graphics and the map sizes. Everyone is so used to Socom 1 & 2 (there was not much difference between the gaphics there) and we have been playing with essentially the same graphics for almost 3 years, that's why the change seems to big. As far as the maps I like the size, I think it forces people to be more tactical, there is no gernade assault like there was on Frost Fire or the other sandy map from S2 where it was an extract where the seals spawn on the beach (I completley went blank on the name). There are palces where people "meet in the middle with tanks and technicals" but you have the option of changing your spawn if it gets too overwhelming. Most of the maps allow for a winner (suppression for one) if you have more people or control points, but overall I love the changes, it will just take some getting used to.
