Anyone know of any ways to get a wireless usb headset for the ps2? That would make my socom 3 experience perfect with my logitech wireless controller.
that would be a great thing for s3,i would love to have a cordless headset but unfortuantly i dont think theres a such thing.but that would be great for s3 because on s2 when im running and gunning and im hungry or thirsty my headset always gets caught on things when im reaching for food or a drink.
Unfortunately, there is no wireless usb headset that is out or in production for the PS2. We probably will see them once the PS3 comes out since everything like the controllers are wireless. That would be an awesome addition to socom and online gaming. Dont have to worry about the cord getting into a knot or the wires falling out.

There is probably a way to modify other wireless headsets for use with the ps2 headset. a little taking apart of stuff, and sodering...if i had the money for another wireless headset, i could probably figure something out
Do you know how difficult it is just for Audio systems like speakers to be wireless?? A headset like that would be damn near impossible right now. I've had wireless surround sound and it sucks...I say keep it the old way. I doubt that Logitech is gonna make a wireless headset because wired headsets do what?: They break. And that means people have to go out and buy a new one. Which means more profit for them. So I think they are going to either improve the mic and earpiece quality or just leave it the same.

What the hell are you talking about, their is ALOT of wireless head sets. Maybe even some USB wireless made for the comp. Their is quite a bit a wireless headsets for xbox, and they work great, some of them. Im pretty sure Logitech has made some wireless head sets just not for the ps2. Also the Logitech/Sony head set dosnt break very easy, not for me atleast but i know not to sit on my headset and break it.
