I just called my GameStop and the guy told me to bring my recipt and I will have my demo. FINALLY!

I just called my EB Games, the one I preordered S3 with 4 months ago, and asked them about the demo.

The guy said they ran out of them on Tuesday and that he expects more in but has no idea when.

I told him I was kinda pissed because I thought that anyone that preordered the game would get called about a demo, and he said that's never been the case. They initially got 50 of them, and he said they went within a day.

He did say he had one and that it was awesome. f*cker

And eff all the liars that have been like 'oh if you preordered you'll get a demo'.

I don't think he was lying, so I hope some of you guys manage to get one. I can wait 3 more weeks for the whole enchilada, but it'd be sweet as pie to have a demo to screw with.

Ok, I messed up. I called another video game store here in the Harrisburg,PA area, and it turns out it's the one I actually ordered mine from. There's an EB Games and a Babbages in the mall, I could'nt remember which is which, so sue me.

Anyway, the guy I talked to was so fricking awesome. He said they hadn't got the demos yet but he was watching for them himself because he can't wait for the game. I said yeah, me too, I'd been drooling over forums the past few months. He then asked me if I read the PS ones or the one at Socom3.com! I thought that was the sh*t. Anyway, he called their main store in the area (I heard him do it, he sat down the phone with me on it, and used another to call), and got details.

BABBAGES will receive the demo between now and September 30th, and ONLY preorder customers will get it. AWESOME.

He even said feel free to call every single day between now and then, after noon, because he doesn't know how many there will be, and only those who know about it will get one because they'll need to ask about it. They're not going to call the preorder customers, or mail them a demo, or anything like that.

So, frag on peeps. This is the most concrete info I've been able to get about the demo online or offline.

I don't have visual proof but, If you live in the Brooklyn N.Y.(Flatbush ave., Atlantic Center Mall) section. You can call them yourself and ask. I don't know if its against the TOS to post the phone number here for you but, I'm sure those who do live in the area will give a call and back me up on this.

Does anyone know if Wal-mart is doing this? If not I'll probably have to call them and see for myself, or just drive out and ask them directly(and finally reserve the game as well ). Wooo buddy, I hope we can get the demo soon! :D

I pre-ordered from Gamestop.com. I called a local Gamestop store and the guy there said the demos aren't in yet. But, said I could get one since they'll have spares. Apparently, they don't break the speed limit trying to get the demos out to folks who have pre-ordered the game.

He did not say when to expect the demos in, however.

1. I pre-ordered S3, can i get the demo?
2. if i can, should i call the store and ask if they have demo's in
