violent games only effect retards who cant comprehend that it is a game, and not real life.

Why would the ARNOLD sign that bill, I mean, the games he is in are rated M, he would make less money :p

But no, its funny, I am at the store, my parents are walking around looking at other stuff, I went to go buy a game, I forget which one, but it was rated M. They are like, I cant sell this to you. I am like, 1 sec....my parents come in, I hand them my money right in front of the worker, my parents hand the worker my money, then he can sell it to me. What is the difference??? lol

For the first point, when "retards" have easy acces to weapons, either by buying them or finding them lying around a house, it tends to become your problem, does it not?

Secondly, it might induce your parents into actually considering it (the purchase), asking themselves why the game was rated "M" looking perhaps over your shoulder sometimes. And that they might actually stop and think what you need that game for, if they would consider it "only for retards". That is the difference.

You guys shouldn't really be worried about it. You guys have to be close to being 17 years of age, right? I'm already 17, so this doesn't affect me. I know when I have kids, I won't have a problem buying a videogame that's violent for them. It's my choice on what my kid does, not the government.

True. And that's why YOU are responsible for your kids. And their actions.
