Well, not me. Never have, actually. According to some of our clan it is a gap in my edcucation :) Heard it was good, but i cannot bring myself to the learning curve.

Anyhow, CS is good news. The flashbangs may be brought a tad forward also. A bit more realistic. A lot louder, and not only one bang, but more bangs. Also, we (in our MC) had some that had strobe lights in them that were really annoying. And the noise! Oh my god.

Based on screen shots I've seen I think there is going to be some kind of tear gas becauuse there are screen shots of people wearing gas masks, I also saw a shot of a guy running and his vision was blurred.

I know the picture of the gas mask is on ign.com and the picture with the blurred vision was either on ign.com or gamespot.com i think.

flashs aren't bad in s2, but i always make sure i give myself plenty of cover as not to blind myself, so by the time i storm a room they can see, its just not effective enough, and ppl hardly actually go really blind. i like the smoke suggestions all very interesting ideas...

if you look in the weapons thread on these forums, or atleast thats where i think i read it, it says that he smoke grenade has tear gas in it, therefore blinding, gagging, and choking victims. I'll look for the eact post and get the exact quote.

EDIT- i found the quote...some guy googled the AN-M8 and this is what is says. "The grenade emits a dense cloud of white smoke for 105 to 150 seconds. THE AN-M8 HAND GRENADE PRODUCES HARMFUL HYDROCHLORIC FUMES THAT IRRITATE THE EYES, THROAT, AND LUNGS. IT SHOULD NOT BE USED IN CLOSED-IN AREAS UNLESS SOLDIERS ARE WEARING PROTECTIVE MASKS." This proves The Godfather's theory of tear gas.

The flashbangs work really well in counterstrike. Would be cool to have that in socom.
