School and Stress....

It seems that right before school starts and all during school I am stressed out of my mind. I can't deal with all of the stress and I just feel like shutting down sometimes. I have lots of friends, a good relationship with my girlfriend, and I get good grades. I should be fine, but I'm not. I think the reason why I'm stressed is that the teachers in my school don't know how to teach and they expect so much out of everyone. The school i go to is also overcrowded and crappy. It is slowly driving me insane. If anyone has a good way to deal with stress, please share.

Stress???!!!??? You wanna talk about stress, wait till you graduate, your out on your own, you have a girl knocked up, have to pay for rent, utilities, gas, etc and still make it from pay day to pay day....now thats stress. (Note this isnt me..::knock on wood about knockin a girl up::.. but just making a point. You are in school, this should be the best and least stressfull time of your life. Enjoy it while you can, in 10 years you will look back and kick yourself in the @ss for it if you don't.

You forgot to tell him about the airforce Thats a lot more stress then school.

I would say just chill take it easy don't let it stress you out manage your time. Don't come on and play socom (stressful) then do hw it just won't work. Another reason right here...

You say your teachers can't teach, maybe it's that you don't care what they teach. You do other things instead of doing your homework. Or it could be that you have some sort of learn problems.

Stress, hmmmm 24 and almost bold on the top of my head. You want to talk about stress. Get a job, car payment, wife and kids. That is enough hell for one man.

Dealing with stress, finding a stressless hobby. Build a model or something of that nature. Take a long car ride out in the country with windows rolled down...this one allways works for me.

Sniff the glue a couple times and you won't be so stressed I hate bulding models that stresses me out because it looks like **** when I am done. I do like the car ride idea though also go hang out with your friends or girlfriend there is things she could do to help keep you stress free

Like Pan or Snoman would know about these things...hahahah

Also another good idea is to get a heavy bag (Punching Bag) and go to town on it. The work out of doing it helps get out all the bad toxins in your body, and also it help gets out your anger and frustration.

Pick up your guitar and play. If you don't have one, buy one and learn to play it. Or, if you don't like the guitar, try the drums. Heck, any musical instrument helps fight stress. And, if you are musically inept and don't want to spend the time and money buying an instument and learning how to play it, crank up your favourite tunes and sing along as loud as you can as long as you can.

What I've also heard is that, when it comes to actual schoolwork, the best thing you can do for yourself and to reduce stress is to do a little studying every day from the beginning of school, rather than trying to cram everything in the night before. Like I said, I've just heard that, I can't say I've ever done it myself, so I don't know if it works. Good luck.

Kill some people on socom to relieve your strees, or go out on a drive, but i agree that most teachers are crap and cant teach and expect too much out of their students

Hey snoman can get laid he just wants to find the right hooker thats all :P

I was just talking about sex although it did seem to come out that way. Your girlfriend should be someone you could tell your problems to so you get them off your chest makes you feel a lot better.

I feel you man. I have sats coming up and the most important year of school so far...basically the next few months will decide my future. The number one stress reliever (and cheesy and tek will back me on this one) is masturbation. In scientific terms, it releases natural endorphins, adrenaline, and relaxing chemicals in the brain that will chill you out for a while. In laymans terms, its just awesome.

Other than that i would take up an instrument. Go out and get a guitar or something like that. Just regular hobbies too i guess....sports, art, etc. But the thing is to remember to not smoke or do drugs, i have a lot of friends who do because they are so stressed.
