ok u guys ready for a really stupid lazy question? im warning you this is the candidate for dumbest question ever: what is the max. char. in a ahndle on socom, with out glitching of course? there i said it.

I think it's still 14 (same as SOCOM 1 and 2), but there are no more spaces or alt letters. All names must be at least 5 characters and can have letters(A-Z), numbers(0-9), underscore(_), dash(-), or periods(.).

I really wish that they would move up the char limit. I mean, 14 letters is good and all, but without alts names will be taken VERY fast. New "original" names will have to be made. Names like, "oasjdflaskdaj" and, "lasjdf". It doesn't sound good at all

No just means people will actually have to be more original and not pick the 14th version of Head HUnter with all alts etc. I get tired of seeing the same name over and over and over with a few variations...be original....its good for the brain!

LOL, can someone help me be original? I am one of those guys trapped in a grey world where everyone is alike and no one has a brain. PLEASE help me!

Easy like myself, i chose LuFeng because he is one of my favorite kung fu movie actors. I make a name that i know will be easy to get and original not so people think im cool. Your name doesnt make you cool on a game with interaction with people...the persons personality playing UNDER THAT NAME makes you cool. Just think of a movie, actor, cartoon/anime character, etc that you like and try it out. Theres so many places and things you can reference for a name and originality matters more than an alt letter on a name that 1500 people use.-Lu

I hate the guys with dumb names... I cannot stand my mate's name
"x Mithrandir"... there are plenty of names out there, people are just too lazy to make them up...
