I read in a forum, that the M2 mines or w/e are huge, and if your running around, then it will be pretty hard to miss, there BIG and CIRCULAR. But then again some people are clueless with there surroundings or just have tunnel vision, but i like the fact that they have a weight limit to explode.

if u STEP on it, nothing will happen
if u DRIVE on it, your screwed
usually when ur driving, u slam on X or whichever accelerate is and you dont pay much attention to whats on the ground, so its just as easy to drive over a M2 mine as it is to walk over a pmn mine

And even if you do notice it, while in a vehicle you can't stop on a dime, so you have to have seen it from a distance.

That's not fair, what do the terrorists have, the mines were our best defense, now they're saying the mines won't be as strong, that's some bs, zipper has to be retarded to make mines do less damage, considering in real life they blow of peoples legs and everything, and if anything we should get six mines, so we can plant them in the drivers seat of veichles  .

I thinnk the mines will be fair, it will basically even up terriorst have anti personal mines and seals get anti -vehicles. Just imagine a while load of seals on a humvee and they go buybye cuz of your mine? haha its like a joint suicidal cult... and im glad Players wont get d by the m2's cuz the seals would yet have another advantage.

wow, i think the car would probablly just go on fire and then u have to get out or u blow up. but um...seals already have tons of advantages anyways.
pmn mine, as i said before...they are blue and bright red, you can see them from a distance claymores are harder to find...but do a hell of a lot less damage.

Im glad they have this vehicle mines... this should cut down on the use of vehicles a bit.

Both teams have M2 anti-vehicle mines, terrorists still only have Pmn mines and seals have claymores. You can oly have two of each because with 16 people having access to Pmn mines and having all the time in the world to set them up in huge maps, would be insane. Also, if you think about it, mines were too strong in Socom 2. Of course in lag nothing happened but that's lag. When there was no lag, it could kill 3+ people if they were close to it. Now the most you'll probably ever get with one mines kill is 2-3.

i like the idea of 2 mines rather then 4, the mines get real old sometimes in the maps where theyre harder to see or just used more frequently. i couldnt imagine how ****** it would be if everone had 4 mines

I think having mines is nit such a good idea unless they gave you metal detectors cause over 75% of freakin idiots that dont know where they planted the mines are goin to kill themselves.... now that i think about it leave the mines in.
