Well, if this is true. . . and I doubt it is, then I really would miss certain maps like Crossroads. I know for a fact that many will, it, by far, is the most popular map in Socom 2. At the same time though I wouldn't really care. I love maps like Foxhunt and Blood lake. I guess it will be up to the us all to decide once the game comes out, or for all you lucky testers, you'll decide sooner

Zipper developers have stated that they are going back to the SOCOM one approach by opening up the levels, and getting back to their roots. Maybe the maps will be open like Foxhunt. We have all seen Harvester, and that map is like a gigantic Foxhunt, so maybe we'll just have to get used to it.

I think there going to be alot better .No more rushing right when the map starts and having people die within 10 seconds of the map starting.People wont be able to throw grenades at the start of the game and kill people. You wont have as many people camping In one spot the whole game like the desert glory hostage room .Snipers can have there space and dont have to worry as much about being seen.

Yeah, definitly better. I'm sure there will be certain hot spots in certain maps that will be perfect for CQC. I know in Harvester there is some houses that you can go into, that could make for some cool CQC fire fights and such. Every time I talk about SOCOM III, I get giddy and all excited like a little school girl. It's sick, but I'm so freaking excited! Good bye social life, hello SOCOM III!!

I love games that are that fast paced. I love playing both sides on Frostfire, if I'm rushing as a SEAL, or defending as a terrorist.

I like this aspect, too.
I would like to see a map (using a Control game play, for example)where the intense control areas are close quarters, intense, fast paced fighting, but is inside a large perimeter, where snipers can pick off a few people.
I sure hope they have city style maps.
