I like the idea of user created maps but... There are like thousands of socom players... Atleast half of the players will make maps i mean it would cram up the server like eating 4 cans of spam its not gonna settle down anytime soon !
But its a cool idea for offline play maybe? like make a map put terrorists and play your map??? But it will never happen...

I think its a good idea! You could do that in tony hawks pro skater, that would be awsome (if there were no glitches) you would always have a new map to play on .
It would never work. This isn't like some other games. Making a custom map would take tremendous effort and time. With this being on the PS2, the memory issue previously stated does come into play. More so, however, is the fact that most people are not capable of doing the work of professional game designers. Even if they added in a simple map editor, it would still take a huge amount of effort. Load times for the map everytime you played would be terrible also.
