Topic: Vehicles
Information: Unfortunatley, I can't say much. Like I mentioned earlier, they are mostly useful for transportation with these larger maps of Socom3. As far as I can tell most of the actions are realistic, yes. Vehicle controls are similar to that of the regular controls as if you were running around.

Question
I'm not sure on the policies of posting information that you mentioned, so I hope my question can be answered.
The one question on everyone's mind: LAG. Just brief thoughts are okay there.

Topic: In-game performance
Information: The new technology is really paying off for socom3. I mentioned above that loading times are much faster. It is a beta version so some instances will be laggy and that is understandable. For the most part, however, the game has been lag free. I know people are worried about having 16v16 fights in one area of the map. I can say that even in those situations, the new socom3 servers hold up well. Lag comes mostly from the host and player connections (as is stated all the time here), but you will see an incredible change in performance with these new servers.

Question
Have you tried the new game modes? Are they fun or boring? Well balanced between seals and terrorists? And thanks c0mman3r for the great thread!

Topic: New Game Modes
Information: This is a subject I cannot really touch on. I can say that I played them, yes. They are a lot of fun and you will probably have fun with them as well. I can say that the two new game modes bring fun and amusement to ranked matches. People won't stress so much over these two as much as we see people stress over socom now.

Topic: Teamwork
Information: Well, there will always be various ways to play socom. In socom3 this is no different. You can play with lots of teamwork and cooperation or you can go off and do your own thing. This the amount of players in the game now (32) you will find even when going off to do your own thing you will have friendly company. Teamwork helps more because of larger maps in the game, but it is not necessary to win (just like in the previous socom titles).

Question:
In the Socom 3 beta, do you ever feel "angry" because someone killed you? People in Socom II always blame lag and say that people are pulling their cords to cheat. Zipper employees stated that lagging or "cabling" or using a "majic switch" in Socom 3 will not give any benefit to the "cheater", is this true? Does it now feel like you can only blame yourself for dying and not technical problems?

If I die I know that someone just got me before I could get them.

I love you Socom 3. This is the EXACT answer I was looking for. Thank you.

Topic: Lagging, Cabling, Pulling Cord, ect. and Deaths
Information: This is a tricky one. Personally I have not seen much lag that can be tracked back to one individual player. I would not think someone would "cord pull" or "majic switch" on a beta, but if Zipper says it will not give any benefit then I believe them. On the subject of getting killed, I do often tend to find myself making excuses on socom2. On Socom3 Beta I find myself simply having a great time with it. I don't see lag so I cannot blame someone else for my death. Like Zipper said in an interview, the hit detection is better and the amount of hits to die has decreased. A few hits and you are down. If I die I know that someone just got me before I could get them.
