White Fusion Reflex Controller

How awesome would it be playing Socom 3 with the controller in the link?

http://gear.ign.com/articles/603/603262p1.html

Or better yet, if Socom 3 was packaged with it and everyone could use them. I dont know if any of you have ever played pc shooters but playing with a mouse and keyboard is a lot better than a controller, and this controller could help emulate the feal of a pc shooter without a mouse and keyboard. Some of you will not think its a good idea but the people at IGN absolutely loved this thing when they tried it if you read the article i posted.

Oh and heres another article about it.

thats why there are PC gamers, and PS2 gamers as well as Xbox gamers. i play PS2 cause i dont like PC controls and games. so i dont want that controller to be mandatory on the PS2. i think it takes enough skill to learn to control the ps2 controller on socom as it is. Sorry bro but i dont agree with this one. it look scool and all but a PC is PC and a PS2 is a PS2 lets keep it that way

I have to agree with endgame on this one.
IMO mouse and keyboards work well with first person shooters. Not so great with 3rd person shooters.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea, just that maybe it would be better suited to first person shooters, especially for the pc. Otherwise Sony would have made a bigger point that it is possible to use a mouse and keyboard on your ps2.

Xbox 360 ID : I inamorata I

I wouldn't use it because it looks goofy. I like the normal PS2 controllers. Especially when they are worn in and old. I think I would be way more acurate with an old PS2 controller than that weird thing.

i'd be willing to try one like in a store or something but i don't think it would work for me simply because i hate regular trackball type mice for the pc too, they cause thumb cramps after an hour or so and my average socom session usually lasts for around 5 hours or so when i do sit down and actually play.

They made the article so wouldn't you agree with them? Anyhow, that controller doesn't look at all like it would be comfortable, I'm fine with the current controllers we have now. All I do is play socom, I'm not this huge gamer, the controller that shipped with my Ps2 is the one I will be using.

By the way those are just prototypes. And secondly, don't you think it would be cool being able to turn around in a split second like you could in real life. Wouldn't it be cool getting camped on and in less than a second turning around putting a bullet through his skull because he was to slow.
