I called my EBGames again they said they were getting it sometime this week (I can't trust them anymore though about release dates) but they did say before the demo is out for anybody to take them, they call the preorderers first and tell them they have it before the put it on the shelf. I hope this guy wasn't lying because then I'll be really mad if I miss the demo because they didn't call me, but if he wasn't lying then I'm almost positive to get the demo because almost no one in my area around here plays Socom, let alone preordering it. :D

Just called Gamestop (Roeland Park, KS) and they said that the demos have been shipped and should arrive sometime this week.

The dude I called had no friggin idea when they shipped, but when I got a hold of the manager about a week ago she said "the middle or end of August".
That'd be sweet if they came in tomorrow...someone be sure to verify it if and when they get one.

just called gamestop....
I have never posted on the forums before I just like to read them and get ppls thoughts but I talked to the GM of game stop this morning and he has informed me that the demo was pushed back again  to 01-SEP-05 that is september first. I am not happy about it and I am sure none of you are but it does fits the time line for the release and a demo being released before the game. The only thing we can hope for is that the game doesn't get pushed back also. Anywho sorry about the news and if you all have any info let me know plz.
