War of the Worlds (like it or not)

Ok, i just got back from the movie theator, i saw War of the Worlds. I really liked it and would like to see it again, it was suspencefull, had aliens, it was all out great.

For those of you who have seen the movie, what did you think?

This is a poll though, they differ.


It was AWESOME!

Some parts, of course (it's a movie) didn't make much sense....

Like, how Bobby? survived when he went to fight, and somehow made it to Boston perfectly fine. Whereas Tom Cruz had to blow **** up in order to get to Boston.


And, how one can be genius enough to find out how to "ride" lightning down in a capsul, squeeze into the ground, then pop out....but not know that the planet you're landing on has a dangerous atmosphere for your type.


Oh well, one thing they hit bang-on: Special effects. Holy ****!


I still loved the movie though, more good parts than bad. Would definately see it again.

Great movie, also some parts that i didn't get was that why was boston like not destroyed at all, and that their parents house wasn't even damaged and that they didn't even have to run away from boston. O well..

Anyways, Great movie, Im still wondering how the Japanese took down a couple of those Tripods :?

I "loved it." There was lots of action, but I think Tom Cruise could have had more to do with bringing the things down. I thought it was kind of dumb, though, how the Marine guys just kept attacking the Tripods. They weren't doin **** to them, so what was the point of continuing to waste ammo on the damn things. If that was me I would have pwnt them.

The movie was great. Good action, could have used more rocket launchers, and cruise needed an M4A1 or MP5 instead of that ****** pistol. One thing is for sure, it was ****ing funny.

DON"T READ THE FOLLOWING IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE

The movie was good and all but here's what I didn't like:

*That little bitc.h (Tom's daughter) wouldn't stop screaming.

*I was expecting more from the aliens-the supposedly studied our planet for thousands or mayber millions of years before attacking and they didn't know that there was bacteria that could kill them.

*Tom was....mmm...I don't know how to put this, maybe too lucky?

Ok I don't want to keep on going.

And one question: What was that red stuff they were growing? Was that what they ate?
