Some are about politics but most have action with splinter cell like themes with shooting, hostage situations etc.

in the first 2 chapters of Tom Clancey's Net Force its about a top goverment offical geting in a gunfight with terriorists who try to blow up his limo, infact this his how he dies, and as he got shot in the head, brain matter and guts sprayed onto the road behind him, somthing really close to that but i know there was, head, brain matter and road in it

i've read the doom books, i'm still looking for the diablo books, i've also read around 10 of the shadowrun books(it's an rpg that's been turned into at least 2 horrible videogames). i'm thinking about picking up the halo books even though i've never played halo. i'd also like to see the red vs. blue guys make a graphic novel, that would be pretty sweet.
