Well, I saw the remake of "Dawn of the Dead" and I enjoyed it alot.

I have not, however, seen any of the other installments but I do plan on seeing LOTD, and Im going to try and find the DVDs of the other movies.

The original Dawn of the Dead was really good. Day of the Dead was alright, but I thought the ending was corny...(Bub saluting the officer)

I agree that it was corny but you have to realize the meaning behind it. One of Romero's visions with the 4 movies was that the "zombies" were slowly able to think and each movie they got progressively more intelligent. Dawn of the Dead saw Flyboy remember where the secret entrance was to upstairs. He also dangled a gun with one finger which looked VERY corny but it served a purpose. In Day of the Dead, Bub actually shot a gun and saluted afterwards. And in Land, Big Daddy rallied all the dead to attack the city using every method possible.

Romero is a master of using horror with an occasional taste of "cornyness" to reflect his view of society. I could type for days about how Land of the Dead symbolized present day earth as well as the future.

But I won't so go watch it yourself.

I have to go watch the special features now

I'm in the back of this group shot. We would have each had out own pic with him but it would have taken too long and the people on line to see him would have killed us.

Here's a few more....

Fran (original Dawn)

Flyboy (original Dawn)

Christ boba, you have the weirdest expressions. First one is crazy, then crazy again, then teary, then just weird. In that group shot you look like a stalker.
