Well if you saw that video then you should have listened to when he said that you can have thermal and night vision while your in third person. He even does it on that video interview.

PS: The video I'm referring to is the one at www.gamespot.com. It's the video interview with two Zipper guys while they're giving a little demo of one of the single player maps.

dude, stop typing in all caps. its annoying.

and this raises some serious questiosn for sure shot users. we use L2 and R2 to strafe left and right. it might be hard to put the thermals on the up button though. because you can use thermals in third person, first person, aand scope now. just look at the very first video. hes using them in third person while driving.

but, this could easily change.

after all, us sureshot users never used quick selects in the first place.

but i wil hate a circle inventory if they use that.

I am way too used to socom 2's controls. i hope there going to be a "classic" control option. i wouldn't see why there wouldn't be.

I'm sure you can change your control pattern. I know I used to have the left analog as walk and turn, but they I changed it to where you walk and turn with left and right analog respectively. I don't see why they won't have options to change your controls.

i wonder if they will still have the option while playin online to change to the alternate setting, so taht select is to change fire rate and L3 is to view the game stats

Yeah maybe your right. But what i think that when you press Circle- Weapons Menu you can pick what you want rather than a pistol. So that you can still have it on grenades. So for example you got a M4A1 and press L1 you would then get your grenades.

Yeah, I think that's how they have it. Makes more sense and it should be quicker.

I wish SOCOM III's control scheme was like Star Wars Battle Front's control options. In SWBF you could fully customize the controls to whatever you wanted to.
