Wow! I wish I could be just like you! You're so cool coming on to a forum and telling everyone that you're drunk! Anyways, I always thought that the higher the caliber on a gun, then you couldn't have a supressor on the weapon because the bullets would ruin the silencer.

For starters the M249 is not designed as a surpressed weapon, its inpractable and its useless. When you attach a surpresser the way it makes it quiet is that when the bullet is fired the surpresser catches the escaping gas and recyles it around the surpresser same thing when another bullet comes down the barrel and the gas is let out slower, this is why the bullet isnt going as fast becuase it dosnt have that extra push it would use the gas for. So when this happens the weapon becomes increasiling hotter the more you fire the weapon and the more cleaning it needs. So if your going fully automatic with no stoping on a 150 round drum that weapon will get so hot it will likely melt the barrel and give anyone 3rd degree burns if you touch it without letting it cool down for a long time. Thats the problem with silencers, if this wasnt an issue the surpresser would be standerd issue for every eliste. And in real life except for smaller caliber weapons like the 45. or 9mm like the USP or the Beretta 92F the weapon is still very loud if you hear a Colt M4A1 surpressed the only thing it really does is completly eliminate the flash. Some people dont know this but a flash surpreser does not elimenate the flash at all it is just for using in the dark when you fire the weapon the flash dosnt get in the shooters eyes and preety much blinding the man. Second thing the beritta M82A1 is not anti personal its anit veichle and its got a range of more than a mile. If you are getting shot at from a mile away and your in a truck with a lound engine there is no way you will hear the shot that much. If you are lucky you may hear what sounds like a little firecracker in the distance. And if things turn for the worse and you got enemy units coming on you every sniper in USA and the UK is equiped with a backup Rifle. Either a Colt M16A4 or a Enfield SA80 depending on what country you are enployed in. Plus you have a back up spotter to help you. And thats why I think both of those pictures are fakes. Most likely Airsoft replicas.
