An article from gamespot said that if enough people demand the old maps from socom 2 and 1 that they will bring them to socom 3 , thats why the guy in the video interview when asked " will socom 1 and 2 maps be on 3" he said we currently cant talk about that... We must make sure we demand these maps back, cuz what would socom be without frost fire desert glory cross roads and blizzard........

i dont want them. For one thing, everybody already knows them. Two, theyve gotten old, all the secrets unveiled. And three, theyre gonna be tiny compared to the full new maps

i dont what the old maps, because if they come back on the HDD then i dont want all that crap to where i have buy a map each month through a mag besides if it comes installed then it justs takes up space on the HDD. if u want the old maps just keep playing socom 2
If they do redo the old maps to fit S3's criteria, then I'm sure they'd do them all at once and then add them to one disk and make it so you can buy them as a disk. Not with a magazine. They might do it, because they'd make alot of money (1. People will buy the HDD now. 2. People will buy the disk.). I, for one, have the HDD, so I would only need the disk .
I assure you that there will never be any problems with running out of space on the HDD. Especially since SONY doesn't seem to want to release anything else involving the HDD. The maps are only a handful of MB.

The HDD isn't just for the maps...I have a PS2 game downloaded to my HDD and 3 movies and a few songs as well. And I still have plenty of room. I love the HDD. People keep thinking that the HDD was just designed for SOCOM maps and Final Fantasy. It's memory space for anything...not certain things.
