Loadin' time might be a factor is SOCOM 3. The stages are 6 times bigger than those in SOCOM 2, their are more guns n' a majority of things to do. offline there wil be almost no loading imte. it wil be close to that of sanandreas. but online is more complex. if you remember, socom3 uses streaming technology. in other words, once the player goes to a specific part of the map, it loads it while your going twords it. sorta like how some online videos work, or most dvds. even though its still playing, its also loading.
but the roblem is going to be online. since there HAS to be more than 1 player for you to actually play, the question pops up how wll it load. if there was 16 people in a room, then in order to use streaming the player would have to be loading every part of the map that every player goes to, and anybody off of the loaded part of the map is non exisant to your character/ps2/s3game. this would be impossible to snipe. also it would be online. if you think about it more, you will see. i cant explain it very well here.
