Sorry for brining up an old topic...
Just saw Ring 2 last night..wow great movie. Better than the first, if not as scary i love the story line and how detailed it was. The ending was good aswell.
Was it just me or did the mangaled faces look alot tackier than the first one and not nearly as freaky?
Anyway, good movie, reccomend it for everyone but see the first movie before you see this one.

They didn't seem as freaky because the first time around you didn't know what to expect. They seemed pretty similar in this movie just I knew what was coming.

To met it wasnt that, if ure referring to the actual faces i still wince at the ones from Ring 1 but tbh Ring 2 ones looked funny.

I finally got to see it a couple of weeks ago at a cheap theatre that shows 6 month old movies for cheap prices. It was great. The kid freaked me out though, you know, the girl from the well.
