c0mmander, the MPAA rating mean nothing. They are technically guidelines that have been supported by government and corporations. It's the movie theater that keeps you out, or blockbuster. Now it's governments business about what people rent/view.
As for the electrode thing, it sounds fun! Just add an acetylene/plasma torch for even more fun/mob torture. Could you imagine the mob forcing you to play socom after crossing them
I have seen the effects certain wounds have on a person. I have seen mines blow legs off humans and then spin them around in the air like a helicopter. I've seen humans get shot in the head with an M16A4 round and they drop like a sack of potatoes. I have seen a Marine launched 52 feet (we walked it off) away from an IED that exploded just aft of his patrol. The Marine was surprisingly unhurt other than some wicked ugly cuts, bruises and a small piece of sharpnel in his back that our Corpsman removed. He earned the Purple Heart for his wounds. I think that we need to see more realistic actions when people get blown up instead of the standards flop down or back. The person should spin or fly a certain distance, etc. I'd like to see the claymore explosions do more damage. Claymores are filled with enough explosive and ball bearings to kill anyone within 75 feet in the direction it is pointed. Those things don't cause you to flop, it causes you to get shreded apart and drop.
If this game was beefed up to apeal to a more mature audience, then we would lose alot of people who already play this game. Sure, that does sound cool (I guess) but in my opinion, this series has kept me addicted for 3 and half years on what it already is, so why change it?

Well I think that if this game is more gory, (ex. people get blasted to heel when hit by a RPG, not just nocked down) then it will cut down on the amount of little kids playing. Cuz if mommy walkes in and see's little Johnny blow somebodys awm off with a rocket, he isnt gonna be playing anymore. IMO
yea... i do have onimushia and other games that says WARNING THIS GAME HAS INTENCE GORE IN IT IF U DONT LIKE GORE TURN IT OFF BUT... YOU WHOULD BE WASTEING YOUR MONEY BUYING THE GAME NOW WHOULDNT YOU?
